Joey Alsion Sayers currently writes for GoComics’ Alley Oop strip. Initially, this classic caveman comic strip was started in 1933 by V.T. Hamlin. Now Alley Oop is carried on by two people, Joey Alsion and his teammate Jonathan Lemon, who does the drawing. The strip revolves around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from Moo’s prehistory to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug’s time machine. The strip is followed by almost 28K dedicated readers.
