Joshua Barkman is a Canadian artist, which we are going to talk about. He created the Instagram account False Knees. This comic series features animals such as wolves, ducks, rabbits, and squirrels that can be seen on the Instagram account. He humorously uses them to examine realistic circumstances and human fears. His animal-themed comics are well-known for their dark humor.
He particularly lives in Ontario and primarily displays animals, which he sees in his surroundings. He was inspired to begin creating comics by a friend who had been hired by the university’s magazine. This friend informed him about a comic book publication call. So he decided to take the initiative to launch a web comic. Because he found it the perfect opportunity to get popularity in less time.
With this thought and motivation, he continued to make comics on a regular basis and got so much success in no time. He currently has 740,000 Instagram followers.
